Great jam what every garage band strives for.

Nobody there is in the Starship Trooper recording, Tony Kaye was on keyboards. RW belongs on Fragile, Close to the Edge in my Yes listening years. All that Brian May flair and it still sounds nothingggg like Steve Howe’s simple yet very complex sound.

Just to mention that RW played keys on Life on Mars ffs for those that didn't know!

As for myself, it’s great to see this. Würm was the part that made me fall in love with the song Starship Trooper. Rick and Sir Brian look like they’re having fun onstage, jamming it out. Not sure who the other musicians are but they do a good job, the bass player, the drummer and the other guitarist. I love the Les Paul the other guitarist is holding. Thanks for posting. Feel free to tell me who else is playing.

I hope you realized that the drummer is also the thing here.

Different but very good 1st keyboard solo. So why is the camera on Rick banging out 3 chords? Interesting to watch great musicians at work. Slight overkill with the length though but im being picky.

It only took three hours for the A/V people to figure out who was playing the first synth solo...🙄

Speaking of jamming, there’s a great scene of the ABBA backing musicians doing just that with Benny and Björn in ABBA - The Movie 👍🎸

For Brian May to play this as enthusiastically as he does shows great respect for the song and YES and Steve Howe.

'Wurm' is a beautiful piece.. but yes, you can go over the top with it, as I think they've done here. I think Brian May did well, but longer doesn't necessarily mean better. For me, the best version is still the one on 'Yessongs'.
